📜 Zeltux Addon Developer Guidelines
Dear developers,
As part of the Zeltux ecosystem, we value creativity, contribution, and community-driven development. However, to ensure stability, security, and fairness across all users, the following rules and guidelines apply to all addon developers.
By developing or distributing any addon for Zeltux, you automatically agree to these terms.
🔹 1. General Principles
Zeltux supports both verified and unverified addons.
However, unverified addons are used entirely at your own risk.
The Zeltux team is not responsible for any issues, bugs, or damage caused by third-party addons.
Addon developers are fully responsible for maintaining compatibility with updates and system changes.
🔹 2. Support & Responsibility
We do not provide support for unverified addons.
Any ticket, complaint, or report related to broken or outdated third-party addons will be ignored.
Zeltux is under active development, and internal changes may break addons at any time.
It is the developer’s responsibility to ensure their addon stays functional.
🔹 3. Promotion & Advertising Rules
Direct messages (DMs), server advertisements, or unsolicited promotion of addons are strictly prohibited.
This includes:
Advertising your addon in DMs
Posting addon promotions in unrelated servers
🔹 Spamming or self-promotion in any form
⚠️ Important: Even asking users in DM or servers to “create”, “install”, “try”, or “which addon you want / need” may be considered self-promotion, depending on context.
Violations of this rule may result in:
Permanent ban from the Zeltux ecosystem
License revocation
Removal of addon access or privileges
🔹 4. Addon Distribution & Behavior
Addons must not include malicious, harmful, or destructive code.
Addons must respect Discord’s Terms of Service and API limitations.
Any abuse of the system, exploitation, or unauthorized behavior will result in immediate action.
🔹 5. Development Expectations
We strongly encourage innovation and community development.
Official documentation will be provided to assist addon creation and integration.
Developers are encouraged to follow best practices for stability and performance.
However:
Zeltux does not guarantee compatibility with every possible addon implementation.
Breaking changes may occur without prior notice.
🔹 6. Enforcement & Licensing
Zeltux reserves the right to:
- Ban users or developers
- Revoke licenses
- Disable addon access
- Refuse support or participation
These actions may be taken with or without prior warning, depending on severity.
🔹 7. Final Notice
We aim to maintain a healthy, fair, and scalable ecosystem for all developers and users.
By developing or using addons within Zeltux, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own code
- You understand the risks of third-party - development
- You agree to comply with all rules listed above
Failure to comply may result in enforcement actions to protect the stability of the platform.
🔹 8. Fair Use of the System
You are not allowed to exploit Zeltux features, handlers, or APIs in unintended ways.
Any attempt to bypass limitations, abuse permissions, or manipulate system behavior is strictly prohibited.
Load-heavy or spam-like operations that negatively affect bot performance are not allowed.
🔹 9. Code Quality & Maintenance
Addons should be written in a clean, readable, and maintainable structure.
Avoid unnecessary complexity or obfuscation that makes debugging difficult.
Developers are expected to keep their addons reasonably updated after major Zeltux updates.
🔹 10. Verification & Trust Level
Verified addons may receive additional trust and visibility within the ecosystem.
Unverified addons remain fully functional but are not reviewed or endorsed by the Zeltux team.
Verification does not remove developer responsibility for maintenance or support.
🔹 11. Abuse & Enforcement
Any form of abuse, harassment, spam, or malicious intent will result in immediate action.
The Zeltux team reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently ban access to the ecosystem.
Decisions made by the Zeltux team are final and not subject to dispute in most cases.
🔹 12. Verified Addon Process
Verified addons are reviewed and approved exclusively by Core Developers of Zeltux.
In order for an addon to become verified, the full source code must be submitted for review.
Partial code, obfuscated code, or missing components will result in automatic rejection of the verification request.
If the full source code is not provided, verification will not be granted under any circumstances.
The purpose of verification is to ensure security, stability, and compliance with Zeltux ecosystem standards.
Even after verification, developers remain fully responsible for maintaining and updating their addons.
📏 13. Rules & Management Decisions
We reserve the right to modify rules if we observe that the bot or server is being used in an unsupported way or if there is any abuse of the system.
However, we do not misuse or abuse these rules.
All decisions made by the Management team are final.
